Quality Mental Health and Social Services for our Island Residents

Life can be tough sometimes, whether you’re a child, teen, adult, or family member trying to support someone who is hurting. Our services are designed to support individuals and families and help them find their own skills and strengths, even when they’re battling hardships like anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, gender dysphoria, grief and loss, personality disorders, substance or alcohol abuse, abuse survivor trauma, PTSD.

Our team strives to provide whole-person care which encompasses therapy, psychiatry, and social services. The most rewarding part of our work is witnessing our community members overcome challenges, grow, and meet their needs. Our goals include developing healthy coping strategies, implementing positive perspective, and behavioral change. We are also available for psychiatric medication management. When you're ready, schedule an in-person, telephone, or video session with a licensed therapist of your choice to help navigate life challenges.

We treat all ages from children to seniors. CI Health is an LGBTQIA+ safe space. Available for booking Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm; evening hours upon request.

Diego Fuentes

Diego Fuentes, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Diego received his Master’s in Social Work from Cal State LA and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has worked with at-risk adolescents, incarcerated women, individuals on probation and most recently with the community as a supervisor of the mental health department at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Los Angeles. His niche is working with individuals to recover from alcohol and other substances and axis I mood disorders such as bipolar, anxiety and depression. His goal is to evoke the individuals’ known strengths and use them as a foundation for healing and persevering.

Giselle Selebi

Giselle Silebi, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Giselle has had over 20 years of experience working with adults, children, families, and the community with their mental health needs. She holds both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner and has an extensive background in emergency medicine.  While working in the emergency room, she observed how patients’ behavioral health had a huge impact on their physical health.

As a trauma informed provider, Giselle is known for understanding her patient’s needs in a warm and compassionate way.  She provides person-centered care utilizing medications, cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness, and coping skills training to individuals seeking relief from their behavioral health symptoms.  Her goal is to optimize care so individuals can restore a healthy life balance and ultimately have a better quality of life.

Giselle specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, substance abuse, mood disorders, adjustment disorders and schizophrenia.

Letty Pileski

Leticia Gonzalez Pileski, PsyD., LMFT

Licensed Marriage Family Therapy, Social Services Manager

Dr. Leticia Gonzalez Pileski is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and a Certified Approved Clinical Supervisor, Trainer and Mentor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. As a Bilingual, Spanish-English therapist, Letty has worked with families, couples, children and adolescents for over two decades in diverse community-based programs and has a long history of developing therapeutic camps for children and families in Southern California and Internationally. She is a Professor of Equity, a Lecturer, a Clinical Supervisor at San Diego State University and became a Certified Daring Way Facilitator in 2019. Letty works collaboratively with families utilizing her training in family systems therapy, post-modern therapies, and works towards building shame resilience.

Patients can see her on the island select days each month, as well as via teletherapy.

Marriage and Family Therapy & Social Services Training Program

To help expand behavioral health services to island residents, CI Health welcomes master’s-level Marriage and Family Therapy and Social Services students to see clients via teletherapy. These sessions are part of the 3,000 hours of supervised clinical hours required for licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

The program is supervised by Dr. Leticia Gonzalez Pileski with additional Social Services supervision by Diego Fuentes, LCSW. The students are currently accepting new patients.

Taylor Keeline

Taylor Keeline, Social Services

Taylor graduated from UCLA in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is currently pursuing a master’s in social work with the goal of becoming a LCSW. She previously worked as an admitting clerk at CIH, where she supported patients and staff through administrative duties. That experience gave her valuable insight into patient care and the importance of accessible health services in rural communities.
As a resident of Avalon, Taylor is passionate about contributing to the well-being of the community. Through this program, she hopes to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced providers in the Social Services Department/Behavioral Health, while continuing to grow the skills and knowledge needed to become an LCSW in a clinical and medical setting.

Taylor is also available for in-person sessions.

May Kubo, Marriage & Family Therapy

May is a Japanese American graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University San Marcos. May has professional experience as a behavior technician and currently works in patient care at a medical device company, supporting the elderly population. She is passionate about working with individuals and families through a person-centered, culturally sensitive, and gentle lens. As a Japanese American woman, May values honoring diverse backgrounds and lived experiences in the therapeutic process. She is excited to join Catalina Island Health to further develop her clinical skills and provide inclusive, thoughtful care to the communities she serves.

Daniel Reicht

Daniel Recht, Marriage & Family Therapy

Daniel (he/him) is a graduate-level trainee who provides telehealth therapy through a queer-affirming and trauma-informed lens. His approach integrates somatic awareness and family systems therapy with a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Daniel is passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and families navigating mood disorders, substance abuse, identity development, and relational challenges. He believes healing happens in safe and supportive spaces with help from an attuned guide that allows clients to reconnect with their strengths, process trauma, and foster significant growth. It is his privilege to walk alongside individuals as they grow, heal, and reclaim their lives.

Yesenia Rios

Yesenia Rios, Marriage & Family Therapy

Yesenia is a bilingual Spanish-English Marriage and Family Therapy student at Alliant International University with experience in a school-based therapy setting and teaching students English in Spain. She works from a client-centered perspective and values collaboration in the therapeutic process. Yesenia incorporates an integrative approach which includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in achieving their goals. She is passionate about making therapy inclusive and a safe space.

Michelle Roberson

Michelle Roberson, Marriage & Family Therapy

Michelle is a therapist trainee currently studying at Alliant International University, where she will graduate with her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in May 2026. Additionally, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from New Mexico State University. She has a diverse career background ranging from executive support and mortgage licensing to running a real estate business for over a decade. She looks forward to collaborating with clients using a compassionate and relationship-centered approach. Michelle believes in providing a safe space for her clients, welcoming them to come as they are on their journey towards clarity and healing.

Bertha Ramos, LCSW

Bertha is a bilingual English/Spanish speaking therapist who has provided individual, family, group, and crisis counseling therapy to children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years. Depending on a person's individual needs, she uses different types of therapeutic approaches. Her specialties include trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, mood, and emotional/mental conflicts. She is certified in Brainspotting, Parent-Child Interactive Therapy, and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).

Megan Fenyoe, LCSW

Megan Fenyoe, LCSW

Megan Fenyoe is an Air Force veteran, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist (LCSW), speaker, and bestselling author. She is also the founder and CEO of the international IAM ENOUGH movement™ and Freedom Haven nonprofits. In 2021, Megan was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden; a Special Congressional Recognition Award from the United States Congress; and a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate.

Working as a Behavioral Health Therapist for the past 15 years, Megan is considered an expert in her field. Her area of expertise is the mind and the way it affects behavior and well-being. She specializes in working with individuals affected by trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and substance abuse disorders as well as working with couples.

CI Health Staff Esmeralda Nunez Wong

Esmeralda Nuñez-Wong, LCSW

Esme is a bilingual English/Spanish speaking therapist who works with adolescents and adults. She has experience working in the primary care setting (Federally Qualified Health Centers) for 10 years as well as for the Ventura County Mental Health Program. Her style of therapy includes being patient centered utilizing CBT, problem-solving and strength-based approaches.
