Catalina Island Resident Resource Fair April 18
Catalina Island Resident Resource Fair
All Catalina Island residents are invited to join us for the first FREE Catalina Island Resident Resource Fair at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church on April 18 from 9AM-2PM. This will be an opportunity to learn about many different state, county and local resources available to you and your family and receive assistance with them all in one place. The event is a great way to learn what help is out there for you, receive free application assistance, meet your state and county representatives and enjoy the raffles and food. All are welcome!

Health are going to present the first
Catalina Island resident resource Fair
we all know how hard it is to go over
town sometimes and we don't have a lot
of things accessible to us here so this
resource fair is all about bringing
service to us and information at our
fingertips it's going to be a free
community event there'll be Raffles and
food there'll be application assistance
for Medicare there'll be family support
information housing assistance
immigration assistance and mental health
support for drug and alcohol and just
Mental Health Services when is this
going to be it's going to be Thursday
April 18th from 9:00 in the morning to
2: in the afternoon and it's going to be
at St Catherine's Church in their
Fellowship Hall so it'll be on Thursday
April 18 from 9:00 in the morning to 2:
in the afternoon I think it's really
important get the word
out the other thing that I thought was
very interesting they also have help
like for those that want to start small
businesses or cook from your home or
help with your state disability or
unemployment all of these things we
don't have enough social workers here on
the island to give everybody information
that they want sometimes people have to
wait a long time to get an appointment
um here at the at the clinic to get
their questions answered so this is the
time if you have any questions about any
of those things to come
