Join us for the August Community Health Talk on Foot and ankle care with Dr. Jensen, our visiting podiatrist.

Dr. Jensen will share signs or symptoms that indicate you need to see a podiatrist, suggestions on the proper shoes and socks to wear, and overall foot care. For those with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, there is a greater risk for foot problems like poor circulation, nerve damage, ulcers, and infection. He will review those problems and give recommendations to help prevent potentially dangerous issues in the future. He will also talk about peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and the importance of early detection. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
