COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for Catalina Island Residents Ages 18 Years and Older with High-Risk Medical Conditions or Disabilities + Standby Line

LOCATION: CI Health Health Clinic
DATES: EVERY THURSDAY
TIME: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Vaccination will continue until supplies are exhausted.

Verification documentation of the diagnosis or type of disability is NOT required. Any Catalina Island resident meeting the eligibility requirements will be asked to sign a self-attestation that they meet the criteria for high-risk medical conditions or disabilities. For a full list of qualifying medical conditions, see our website below.

All other Catalina Island residents may wait in the standby line. Proof of Catalina Island residence, homeownership, or employment required.

YOU MUST BRING GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDENTIFICATION.

We require all individuals that are receiving the vaccine to show proof of age by providing government-issued identification, plus Catalina Island residency or employment. Other acceptable forms to prove residency, homeownership or employment are commuter subsidy card, proof of homeownership, a bill with your name and Catalina Island address.

Catalina Island residents ages 18 years and older with high-risk medical conditions or disabilities who have one or more of the following conditions:

  • Cancer, current with weakened immune system
  • Chronic kidney disease, stage 4 or above
  • Chronic pulmonary disease, oxygen-dependent
  • Down syndrome
  • Solid-organ transplant, leading to a weakened immune system
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, orcardiomyopathies (but not hypertension)
  • Severe obesity (Body Mass Index ≥ 40 kg/m2)
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus with hemoglobin A1c level greater than 7.5%
