COVID-19 Vaccine Approved, CI Health Awaiting Allocation from LA County
Date Posted: December 15, 2020
Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine has recently been approved for use in the US by the FDA. A limited supply of this vaccine will be allotted to CI Health by LA County shortly. Upon receiving these doses, CI Health will follow CDC protocol for administering the vaccine.
As of today, December 15, 2020, CI Health has not yet received any COVID-19 vaccine doses. When we do, we will move through the tiers of vaccine allocation based on the number of doses we will be allocated and adhere to the CDC guidelines. While we wait for widespread vaccine distribution, please continue to practice physical distancing, wash hands frequently, restrict nonessential travel, limit group gatherings, and wear a mask.
